The normal age for admission to The Charterhouse Square School is 3 years old by the 1st September in the first year of education. The final decision for acceptance rests with the Head.
These are the steps to be followed if you are interested in your child being educated by us:-
- There is a non-refundable £100 registration fee. We discourage parents from registering before having visited us on one of our Viewing Days.
- Before starting with us, we write to all parents who have registered an interest. We invite all new parents to attend a special Open Day in October. This is a normal school day where you can see classes in action. Our eldest pupils will give you a guided tour of the premises.
- Our annual intake for the Green Room is 25 children. The first 25 parents to pay the deposit of one term’s fee*, after the October meeting, secure a place in The Charterhouse Square School. Care must be taken that the right decision has been made as this deposit is non-returnable if your child does not start with us, for any reason whatsoever.
* The deposit system ensures a specific entry for your child in the sometimes transient community of Central London.
The conditions of deposit are as follows:-
- Your deposit will not be refunded if you leave the school for any reason whatsoever before completing three full academic years;
- Your deposit will not be refunded if you fail to give one full term’s notice in writing after the initial three year commitment;
- This deposit will be deducted from your child’s final fee invoice if you complete a minimum of three years with us and give one full term’s notice in writing of leaving.
